Be Charmed by the Countryside at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm
Today, 8:00a - 7:00p
Oozing with rustic charm, The Park at Harlinsdale Farm will transport you to a simpler state of mind.
Right next door to the Factory in Franklin, this former horse park has a sense of remoteness and charm that's hard to find! A significant player in the storied past of the Tennessee Walking Horse industry, the farm was recently taken over by the City of Franklin parks and rec department. While you'll no longer find the prized stallion Midnight Sun trotting gracefully through the grounds, you will find 200 acres of rolling hills, a half-acre dog park, a catch-and-release pond (license required), a 3-mile track, and plenty of parking. Sounds dandy, right? It is, but it's going to get even better—the city's master plan
is a real doozy!
Despite the long-term vision, we're sure that you'll love the here and now. Take a stroll with your four-legged friend, pack a picnic, or bait a hook. This place will grab you—hook, line and sinker—no doubt.
