Join fellow community members on Wednesday, September 11 at 6 PM at Marbles Kids Museum for the 9/11 Day of Service Evening Commemoration coordinated by Activate Good with support from Triangle area businesses and nonprofit partners.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Participate in hands-on, family-friendly service projects, enjoy refreshments, and hear words from local community leaders and Activate Good to wrap up this eighth annual community-wide day of service. The Adam Lee Decker Trio will perform live music while we volunteer for great local causes!
Service Project Line-Up at the Evening Commemoration
1) Donate healthy food and sort / package food to fill the truck for Urban Ministries of Wake County
2) Sort clothing for kids in need with Note in the Pocket
3) Assemble skin cancer awareness kits with Polka Dot Mama
4) Assemble literacy kits with Helps Education Fund
5) Hygiene kits for folks in need
6) AND MORE TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON!
WHAT TO BRING:
There is no cost to attend this event, but guests are asks to bring a non-perishable food item to help 'fill-the-truck' for the Urban Ministries of Wake County food pantry: Breakfast items (The most needed item!), Pasta, Pasta Sauce (no glass, please), Can Vegetables, Can Tomatoes, Can Beans, Can Tuna, Can Chicken.
