The NC State Fair may only be a few weeks away, but that can feel like a long time to wait to treat yo self with one of your favorite State Fair eats. You're in luck, because this weekend NC State fair is giving fans around the state a chance to dine on these delights a little early.
In partnership with local food trucks, the fair is dropping some of it's most unique and delicious dishes at farmer's markets in Raleigh, Durham, Greenville, and Fayetteville. Think: Krispy Kreme burgers, fried Oreos, apple donuts, and more goodies that will make your inner child scream with delight (and then quickly have a sugar crash, but it's so #worthit).
Not only can you get your hands on food you won't find anywhere else, there's an extra special deal—folks who've already purchased FastTrack State Fair tickets get a free food sample. These tickets, which are cheaper than at the door of the Fair and allow you to skip the line, will be for sale at the markets or can be purchased online. Just find State Fair employees in the lime green shirts, show them your ticket confirmation or buy some there, and then choose your prize!
Peek at the treats available below (just try not to drool on your keyboard) and then make sure to get this event on your calendar!
