Jack Tar & The Colonel's Daughter already makes a lot of the ingredients for their upscale diner fare in-house—from baking their own bread, pies and pastries to curing their own ham to making their own cheese. Well, this week they took it a step further by launching a house red wine made exclusively for them, fittingly named Jacques Tar.
Jacques Tar is a blend of Cabernet and Syrah made by French winemaker Domaine Aubai Mema. The notes of plum, cranberry and red currant, supple tannins and lingering aromatics were specifically designed to pair with Jack Tar's all-day menu, so whether you're ordering steak frites, poutine or pancakes, it'll be a perfect match. (Okay, maybe not so much the pancakes, but we're totally down to try it.)
Sip this exclusive vino only at Jack Tar and The Colonel’s Daughter, by the glass for $11 and bottle for $40. Better yet, come on Tuesdays where you can get this (and many other wines on their impressive wine list) for half price!
