Haymaker, from Chef William Dissen, is anticipating opening early next week. Haymaker is located in Ascent Uptown, near BB&T Ballpark and Romare Bearden Park, and will bring a sustainable, farm fresh approach to Uptown.
Haymaker is all about showcasing the work that farmers do and they're doing so through heirloom ingredients, pickling, preservation and sustainably sourced seafood and meats. They're also paying homage to NC craft through the decor—a modern selection filled handcrafted artisans and furniture builders of North Carolina.
The restaurant will offer breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Hours are 7a – 2:30p and 5p – 11p. on weekdays, 10a – 2:30p and 5p – 11p on weekends. Check out menus here.
